THE JELLY BEAN PRAYER
THE JELLY BEAN PRAYER
RED is for the blood he gave;
GREEN is for the grass he made;
YELLOW is for his sun so bright;
ORANGE is for the edge of night;
BLACK is for the sins we made;
WHITE is for the grace he gave;
PURPLE is for his hours of sorrow;
PINK is for a new tomorrow;
A bag of jelly beans,
so colorful and sweet,
Is a prayer, a promise,
and a special treat.
Don't wait til Easter to enjoy a bag of Jelly Beans!!!
Happy Birthday !!!!
Pricilla, Eric, Michelle, Paige and Donna Happy birthday, I am so far behind on my birthday greetings. I even had a birthday and didn't blog about it. These are just the birthday for the first 3 month of 2010
Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
Get your blue ribbons out and wear them all month. Colorectal cancer is preventable. Get your colon checked. If colon cancer runs in your family you may need to be checked as soon as your Forty's. My son are in this group.
Colorectal cancer is no fun. I had/have Colorectal Cancer since 2005. Don't say it can't happen to me. Because even though my grandmother had it, I didn't have mine check until it was to late, never thought I would have it. I was a very health, then one day I had one of the signs of cancer. But I kept telling myself it was something else. Finally told my doctor and she order the test. Sure enough it was positive. My family hasn't been the same.
My page has a blue ribbon on it to remind those that visit my page to always beware of Colorectal Cancer.
I have been battling Colon Cancer Since 2005 and the battle is still on in 2012
Fleece Knobby Doll
I saw this saying on a sign a few years ago and just loved it.
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas
Back at Work
I started back to work Aug. 4th, for the last 3 weeks I have been working 4 hrs ad day, 4 days a week, still trying to get use to working again, I am still having tired spells, but I have a stool that I can sit on when I get tired, Next week I start working 5 hrs a day, then the next week I go to 7 hrs, not sure how I am going to make it.
I still take a chemo treatment every 3 weeks, we are calling it maintenance now. I have been stable for over 6 months now. Everything seems to being going good for now. I hope it stays that way.
I no longer have to take the thyroid medicine. My thyroid is back to normal, doctor wasn't sure what triggered it or what made it go back to normal. I guess I am just weird.
I' m Back
I have been neglecting my blogging this summer. Been doing lots of stuff, but just didn't write about it. I need to get back into the habit of blogging again.
Happy Fathers Day
Sunday is Fathers day. I hope all those dads out there have a great day,
My daddy is no longer with me. It has been 17 years. Seems just like yesterday.
Anthony Middleton's Funeral Scheduled
Donna's nephew, Anthony, funeral services have been set for April 16 at the New Liberty Church in Sayre, OK at 10 am.
Donna's Nephew
My daughter-in-law ,Donna ,got word from her sister that her nephew, Anthony, had passed away a few nights ago. He had ALD. We are waiting to hear about the arrangements. I will post them when I get more details. My sympathy goes out to the whole family.
Vocal Cord
Since November of 2010, I have had a problem with my voice, in December, I found out that I had a paralyzed vocal cord on the left side. It maybe cause from the cyberknife procedure that I had done this summer or that the mass in my lung maybe pressing on the nerve that goes to my vocal cord. Either way my vocal cord and voice will never be the same. I went to the throat surgeon on Thursday, and he says he can fix it so it will sound better and stronger. I will have surgery on April 13, it will be done out-patience surgery, will take about 45 minutes. So I am hoping that it will be easier to talk and not sound like Mickey Mouse. I need to get this done so when I go back to work, people will be able to understand and hear what I am saying.
