My aunt Lou called and said that my cousin Sonny (John) has Kidney failure and will have to start dialysis. (Gee's it took me 5 minutes to find the corrected spelling for dialysis).


He has diabetes really bad and it has damaged his kidneys. They are going to put the shunt in sometime this next week and he will have to wait 2 weeks for it to heal before starting treatments.. His mom and daughter are going to learn how to use the machine during that time and they are going to give the treatments at home.

Yesterday was Friday the 13th. One year ago Sonny's sister Barbara died of Liver/Lung cancer. It just doesn't seem like a year has passed. I still miss her so much.
